If this blog was a comic, each post was an issue and this was the 90’s, this post would have a foil or lenticular cover. Seriously, in the nineties, it think the publishers just looked for a reason to make a special cover. Number ones, anniversary issues, milestone issues and one of the writers getting a new cocker-spaniel, were all reasons to have a special cover.
This twenty-fifth post should be bedazzled in some way. I just don’t really know how to add bling, so I’m gonna imagine blog-bling existed, and just describe it to you. It will be a blend between describing a person and a comic book, so you’ll have to pretend it is a giant comic book with arms, legs and a head.
OK, metal-teeth, not scary like a James Bond villain, but like someone on B.E.T. OK so maybe that is scary, but whatever. The book-person has a big silver-chain around its (this is not a he/she thing... seriously you expect me to ascribe gender to a walking book? if so, you have issues) neck holding a diamond encrusted “25” and there are some blinking lights too. It’s bald too, like Mr. Clean. Maybe it should be a dude. It would be creepy having a bald, and genderless book walking around. Then he could have ripped purple pants like the old-school Hulk...
The cover would have the lenticular effect, so as the dude-book moved, it would look like my head (which is the cover image) was changing poses. One image would have me clean-shaven, the next with a beard, and the third view would be me with a goatee and a shaved head. The lenticular thing would be kinda in the center and around the outside would be me turning down offers to join various super-hero teams, then me signing autographs for them. Who knew Spider-man was such a big fan?
Thanks for reading my weirdness thus far, and hope you keep coming back for more...
Literally laughing out loud! Hilarious!! =)
